Course description
The course «Communication Skills for Climate Service» is part of the professional cycle of disciplines for training master’s students in climate services.
The task of the course is to develop skills in communication strategies in the field of climate services for different consumers.
The main goal of climate communication is to provide consumers with adapted data to make informed decisions under conditions of climate uncertainty. Currently, there is a lack of a common understanding of the terminology of user interaction. This is a complex process of building trust between scientists, intermediaries, and end users of climate data.
