On 20-22 October 2021, the ‘Lviv Polytechnic’ National University together with the Lublin Polytechnic held a Conference on ‘Water Supply and Wastewater Disposal: designing, construction, operation and monitoring’ in Lviv in a hybrid format (face-to-face and online participation). On 20 October 2021, within the framework of this conference, a round table on ‘Adaptation of strategic approaches and technologies in water supply and sewerage to climate change’ was held.

About 30 people were present. The reports were heard, those interested could ask their questions and discuss the issues on water supply and sewerage.

Prof. Dr. Myroslav Malovanyi delivered a report on ‘Utilization of excess biomass of aquatic organisms from the technology of biological treatment of surface water’ and Assoc. Prof., Ph.D. Oleksandr Berezko – on ‘Introduction to OPTIMA’.

This round table was dedicated to this year’s World Water Week, which took place from 23 to 27 August 2021 in Stockholm under the motto “Water and Climate Change – Accelerating Action.”
