UN Sustainable Development Goals and Goal 13 in agriculture

The course “Problems of Adaptation and Sustainable Development of Agriculture under Global Climate Change” is a fundamental component of the Master’s program in Climate Services. It is designed to develop core knowledge of the interactions between human activity and the environment, which is essential for informed decision-making in future professional practice within the agricultural sector, aligned with the principles of sustainable development amidst global climate shifts.

The goal of the course is to provide an interdisciplinary and systemic approach to studying the key challenges of agricultural-environmental interactions through the lens of sustainable development strategies and principles.

The course focuses on training specialists capable of applying the theoretical foundations of climatology to analyze climate change, assess its impacts, and support the advancement of climate services. It addresses contemporary challenges, with a particular emphasis on the recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine.
