Course description

The course “Climate Policy, Energy Transition and Socio-Economic Aspects of the “Green” Transformation” will contribute to the development of analytical skills in the field of climate/environmental law, understanding the legal obligations of states and mechanisms for their implementation, as well as the formation of practical approaches to the implementation of international norms into national legislation, to navigate legal, communication and ethical challenges, contributing to effective global climate management.

The goal of the course is to form a comprehensive formation of a systematic understanding of the nature of modern climate change and its impact on natural ecosystems, the economy and social development, as well as familiarization with key approaches, tools and international and national practices of climate policy, energy transition and socio-economic “green” transformation.
