Course description
The course “Climate Change Vulnerability and Climate Risks” is one of the main parts of the professional cycle of disciplines for the Master’s degree program “Climate Services”. The course is aimed at training specialists who are able to assess the consequences of climate change in the social and economic spheres. These specialists should propose effective measures for adaptation to climate change and mitigation of its impact, ensuring the resilience of society and the economy to climate risks.
The goal of the course is to develop in future climate service professionals an understanding of how climate and its changes affect the socio-economic life of humanity, as well as to develop skills in assessing the consequences of these changes for ecosystems and society.
