ClimEd Collaborative Space

The ClimEd Collaborative Space is a digital environment created within the ClimEd project using the AFFiNE platform. It is used by teachers, students, and course participants during the delivery of ClimEd courses, as well as for other educational, research, and project-related activities.

Within the learning process, the space supports collaborative work with course materials, group assignments, discussion of ideas, and the development of diagrams, mind maps, plans, roadmaps, and visual models. Teachers can use it to structure learning modules, prepare shared materials, and organise teamwork, while students and course participants can complete practical assignments, work on projects, present results, and discuss proposed solutions.

The space is also used for thematic activities related to climate services, climate risk assessment, climate change adaptation, stakeholder mapping, impact-chain development, and the design of sectoral or place-based solutions. It can support Living Lab activities, practical classes, research seminars, and interdisciplinary team projects.

Beyond individual courses, the space is used to coordinate project activities, prepare shared documents, plan tasks, record meeting outcomes, develop project concepts, organise work packages, and maintain a common knowledge base. This makes it possible to combine educational, research, and project-management activities within one digital environment.

The Collaborative Space is one of the components of the ClimEd Scientific and Educational Platform and complements Moodle, the ClimEd Network, the YouTube video library, ThingsBoard, and other project resources. It supports practical interaction among participants and facilitates the transition from studying learning materials to collaborative analysis, planning, and solution development.
