ONU Mechnikov Invites Participants to a MOOC on Climate Change and Adaptation

How is the climate changing, and what does it already mean for the economy, society, and professional decision-making? We invite you to join the online course (MOOC) “Climate Change: Causes, Impact, Adaptation”.

The course was developed by Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University within the framework of the international Erasmus+ project ClimEd (Multilevel Climate Education and Training in Climate Services, Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation at local, national and regional scales). It addresses the contemporary causes of climate change, its global and regional consequences, as well as practical approaches to adaptation and climate-informed decision-making. The course combines theoretical knowledge with applied tools necessary for working with climate risks.

Format: online (MOOC — Massive Open Online Course).
Target audience: researchers, lecturers, students, and practitioners.
Duration: 3 weeks.
Workload: up to 3 hours per week.

The course starts on May 18, 2026, and registration is open until May 15.
