On 6 – 10 May 2024, on the premises of Rovira i Virgili University in Tarragona (Vila-Seca), Spain, the 4th Training on Developing Learning Courses in Climate Services Considering Needs of Different Users was held under the ClimEd project.
Academic staff and young researchers from Odessa State Environmental University, Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv, Lviv Polytechnic National University and Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University participated in the event in person, and representatives of Odessa National Medical University – online.
The training included an intensive programme of lectures and group work conducted and coordinated by faculty from the Rovira i Virgili University in Tarragona, the Iberian Institute of Ecology, Spain, the Estonian University of Life Sciences, and the University of Helsinki, Finland.
At the end of the training, representatives of 12 groups presented their bright, informative and inspiring reports in the form of a presentation.
As part of the cultural programme of the training, an excursion to the city of Tarragona, which history dates back two millennia, was organized.
According to the results of the event, the participants were awarded certificates of completion of the training for 3 ECTS credits.
