The purpose of the Society, established in 2017, is to protect the interests of its members in the implementation of their professional activities in the field of hydrometeorology (meteorology, climatology, hydrology, oceanology, agrometeorology, hydrography, physics of the atmosphere and ocean, atmospheric geophysics, etc.) and related fields, comprehensively promote the development of hydrometeorological practice and science, promote their achievements and role in society, and increase public awareness of research in the field of hydrometeorology, as well as related areas of science, technology, production, and public life.
